How long does BVCM Collections B.V. retain your personal data?

  • Personal data of our clients: 7 years;

Exchange of personal data with third parties
To carry out our services, it may be necessary to share your data with other parties / third parties. This can be both within and outside the Netherlands. We conclude a data processing agreement with companies processing your data on our behalf to ensure an equal level of security and confidentiality of your data. BVCM Collections B.V. does not sell your data to third parties.

You are entitled to data portability. This means that you can request BVCM Collections B.V. to send your personal data to yourself or to an organization designated by you in a computer file.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or data portability of your personal data, request to withdraw your consent, or object to the processing of your personal data to privacy@bvcm.nl.

To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document. The following data should not be visible on this copy:

Your passport photo;
  • Machine-readable zone (MRZ), the strip with numbers at the bottom of your passport);
  • Your passport number;
  • Citizen service number (BSN).
  • This is to protect your privacy. You can also use the app 'KopieID,' developed by the government, for this purpose. Through this app, you can easily black out the MRZ and indicate the purpose of processing. We will respond as soon as possible, but at the latest within 4 weeks after your request.

How do we secure personal data?
BVCM Collections B.V. treats its data and its protection with the utmost integrity. We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. We work with With-secure (antivirus program), next-gen firewalls, backups, strong/complex passwords, a protected online environment through two-factor authentication, data encryption (network and disk encryption), and secure emailing via NTA 7516.

Cookies
